I was so flattered the other day by none other than a little girl. She walked through my line with her dad and she couldn’t have been more than six. She looked at her dad grabbed his arm and speaking as quietly as she could she said something to him and he replied, “Tell her.” So she told me she liked my eyeliner and the way it swept up and out. Then, she waited a few minutes grabbed his arm again and whispered. He replied, “I don’t think you should ever want to be anyone else,” to which she replied, “but I want to be her.” *I died* Then she told him she didn’t want to ask me my name (she was too shy) but this I overheard and he again told her to ask. She did and I told her. She thought it was pretty then asked if I wanted to know her name and I said very enthusiastically that I did. Her name was Phoenix.
